in VH1's commercial for "I Love the 90's" as Uma Thurmans character Mia in "Pulp Fiction".

Robert Pless has nearly 30 years of experience in the
fields of entertainment, finance, related technology and
management. Bob has been a production consultant for
Johnathan Debin of Kushner & Locke. Bob began writing
computer programs for finance and the management of
productions. In addition to production systems consulting,
he also assisted in several low budget features in various
capacities including story development, director and
producer.
More recently Bob has worked as an independent
consultant to both the financial and entertainment

After earning his degree he works as a public accountant for 3 years is in regional CPA firm
in Southern Virginia. Following that he worked as a contracts analyst for a large
government contractor, where he worked for 2 years. He moved from that position to sr.
accountant at Volvo Penta (the marine engines division of Volvo Corp) where he
worked for just over 5 years. Following that John Joined the team at Gateway Computers
Corporation where he has been for the last 14 years. During his time with Gateway he has
served in many rolls finally advancing to his current roll as Corp Controller.
Since moving to California, John has been active as a amateur bodybuilder and played
background rolls in the number of films and music videos.
John is very excited to be a part of the Cineplex Studio’s Team and he looks forward to
working on this cutting edge next evolution of entertainment and media.

Alenka Obal was born in Slovenia and grew up performing in theatres all the way until college. She
has graduated from University of Maribor, Law School and Kingston University, Faculty of Law with
Distinction in LLB. All the way through Law School she has been active in event production, artist
management and was also in charge of various contracts and legal aspects of the industry. Upon
completion of LLB she was offered an internship and employment at the International Criminal
Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, UN and continued to work in the international criminal law field on
the defense team for the genocide case in Slovenia. In 2008 she has moved to UK for a Masters
degree LLM in International Law at Aberdeen University and was nominated to complete the last
semester at the University of Cape Town. She has successfully obtained an LLM with Commendation
in 2009. Alenka stayed in Cape Town to work on International Human Rights project, but was quickly
asked to join the production team for Digital Seminars, LAB, where she was in charged of
negotiations, budgeting and contracts. She has also played a big role in directing and assisting at
shootings. She was involved in Reality TV Series, SABC3 where she starred in one of the episodes.
Despite having her background and experience in law, Alenka's biggest passion is producing where all
legal and work experience are of great significance. She seeks one day to direct her own project and
continue her work within the industry.

Joe Ferrante is a Professional Composer, Pianist and Entrepreneur. A 2004 Graduate of USC's
Graduate Scoring for Motion Pictures and Television Program (SMPTV), he has been a pupil with
many famous figures, including Composer Christopher Young (Spiderman 3/ The Hurricane), David
Raksin (Laura/ The Bad and the Beautiful), Joe Harnell (The Hulk TV Show). During the SMPTV
Program, Joe composed, orchestrated and conducted eight original orchestral compositions for
symphony orchestra at Paramount Pictures Stage M with professional musicians. He has
composed and conducted scores for over 25 Short Films spanning a wide range of genres,
including Drama, Action/Adventure, Romance, Thriller, Romantic Comedy, Sci-Fi/ Fantasy, Horror,
Gospel Spiritual, World War II, Contemporary and a Stalker film in addition to his work on Journey
The Web Series. Joe also studied classical composition for four years (1999-2003) at USC where
he earned a Bachelors in Music Theory and Composition. At USC’s Classical program Joe studied
with Composers Stephen Hartke (2004 Charles Ives Living Award Recipient) and Donald Crockett.
As a concert pianist, Joe was accepted at age 16 to study full time in New York City and Provence,
France with pianist/teacher Jeaneane Dowis-Lipman, formerly of the Juilliard School, where he
studied until age 18. Joe also attended the prestigious Mannes College of Music in New York as a
Piano Major before transferring to USC to pursue Composition. Joe released his first solo piano CD
of original compositions "A Coat of Roses" in 1998 and will release his second solo piano album in
the Winter of 2010.
As an entrepreneur, Joe has created the "Joe Ferrante Music Academy" which has 2 locations in
Monrovia, CA and has grown to 350 students and 25 employees in the eight years under Joe's
leadership (www.jfmusicacademy.com). The Academy is proud to open its third location in its
second city in Summer 2010. Joe enjoys providing a wonderful place for children and adults to
learn and appreciate the joys of music.

Kimberly is an actress and athlete of primarily Chinese, Spanish, and Native descent. She is a
“melting pot” of flavors - a “china latina” and plays upon every ingredient. Born in Washington,
D.C. and raised in Maryland, she believes that balance and focus are keys to life. She has an
extensive background in martial arts, combat, and weaponry, and has trained with acclaimed
stuntman Dave Lea to adapt those skills to film.
A quality quickly recognized in Kimberly is her unconquerable spirit. It is the same spirit that
drove her to be the only girl to play on the boy’s soccer team in high school and to later
compete at the NCAA Division 1 level, on the women’s team at the University of Maryland. It is
that same spirit that earned her scholar-athlete awards in college, graduating cum laude with a
Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice, initially intent on law school. Her passion for acting was
sparked in theater classes in high school and college, but was fully ignited when she was
whisked away to Los Angeles after graduation for a corporate position. She left a lucrative
career in the corporate world to take the plunge, follow her bliss, and fill her soul, diving into
her training.
Kimberly has been directed by Academy Award® winners Clint Eastwood, Bill Condon, Oliver

A quality quickly recognized in Kimberly is her unconquerable spirit. It is the same spirit that
drove her to be the only girl to play on the boy’s soccer team in high school and to later
compete at the NCAA Division 1 level, on the women’s team at the University of Maryland. It is
that same spirit that earned her scholar-athlete awards in college, graduating cum laude with a
Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice, initially intent on law school. Her passion for acting was
sparked in theater classes in high school and college, but was fully ignited when she was
whisked away to Los Angeles after graduation for a corporate position. She left a lucrative
career in the corporate world to take the plunge, follow her bliss, and fill her soul, diving into
her training.
Kimberly has been directed by Academy Award® winners Clint Eastwood, Bill Condon, Oliver
Stone and the Coen Brothers. She was cast and directed by Clint Eastwood in Best Picture
Million Dollar Baby, as one of Hilary Swank’s opponents. Kimberly was Spokesmodel #16 on
the first 45 episodes of NBC’s Deal or No Deal and was named as 1 of People Magazine’s 100
Most Beautiful People in 2006. Along her journey, she has also appeared on Good Morning
America and The Best Damn Sports Show Period. Kimberly has recently appeared on Criminal
Minds, Miami Medical, Sons of Anarchy, and in 8 episodes of Easy Money on the CW.

Doctor Lisa Cohen has been a writer of fiction, non-fiction and reference/educational materials
for fifteen years. She began her career as an English and Math teacher in the inner city of New
York. While there, she created successful educational programs that helped students succeed.
Lisa has had a love of writing since she was a young child. She won various awards at school
for her innovative written works. When not writing, Lisa works in the corporate environment
consulting as the subject matter expert on Instructional and Curriculum Design, Technical
Training and Product Management. She has worked for Fortune 500 companies such as
Pearson Education and Intel.
During the past two years, Lisa has moved into the entertainment business. It was a natural
progression since she created a number of instructional programs for her corporate clients. In
her free time, Lisa writes scripts, produces short film projects and performs in an improvisational
comedy group. During that time, she has discovered that she has a love for producing films and
TV projects. She has a number of projects she planning to bring to the internet. Lisa hopes to
get these projects produced and as well as other projects from upcoming talented writers.
